The Joy of Intervals.

 Giving credits where its due.

Imagine preparing a big meal because today is a big day at your house, and a bunch of guests are about to visit you.

You would spend a huge amount of time thinking about what dishes to prepare, and that worry would eventually consume you. Now think about the ingredients for a minute. While you do so, you can actually figure out the number of ingredients and the number of silly little snacks you can make from the leftover ingredients. You can put your main dish on the stove and still have moments to whip up a snack and a fair share of giggles from the stuff that’s left on the countertop.

The process of walking towards the goal leaves us with a choice whether to sulk and wait and worry about why it isn’t happening any faster or to make the best out of every bit of ingredients that’s left.

While being fully prepared for your goal and taking every step diligently leaves you with a lot of time with purposes and questions. The way you use your waiting period is important to preserve your spark. We often question ourselves about why we dont feel happiness even after achieving something significant. Well, the answer lies in our ways of spending and believing about how timing works and how much we are strongly invested in it.

The way we perceive the intervals between our life and our end goal influences the joy we’re supposed to have in the end. Looking at the bright side isn’t always possible, nor can anyone pressure us to feel a certain way. But while you’re walking towards your dream, you can also spare some moments to take a glance at your leftover ingredients and make the best snack out of it. That little moment will remind you of your success someday because sometimes the journey will matter the most, more than the goal.

The journey makes you, you. That’s your back story, and that’s going to be your home you’ll feel grateful for someday.
